Wooden board with אנא בכח prayer in Hebrew

35.00

Wooden board with multi-layer decoration and hand-written calligraphic inscription of traditional prayer אנא בכוח.

The seven verses of each of the seven lines symbolize the day in the count, and the seventh day of the Omer symbolizes the beginning of the seventh day of the Omer. The initials of the line are recited in the same week, ie, in the seven days of counting.
The source of the piyyut in the Middle Ages, apparently in the Kabbalistic circles of Ashkenazi Hasidism. Some of his writings were planted in the Tanna of Rabbi Nachonya ben Hakana.
Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto (the Ramchal) brings the prayer in his book “Prayers to turn the chariot” and combines it as part of a longer piyyut of his own. More than two hundred years earlier, Rabbi Chaim Vital mentioned the piyyut several times and Rabbi Avraham Azulai. The kabbalist Rabbi Shalom Sharabi wrote a commentary on the piyyut ‘Ana Bekhach’ in Sefer Nahar Shalom.

I accept commissions for boards with any prayer, including personalized prayers (with names or dedication), for the same price.
